Antara Home Was Founded in 2007 by Loudonville, NY Native Rajesh (Raj) Singh. After Nearly A 20 Year Career in Fashion and Beauty, Mr. Singh Took A Leap of Faith, Returned To the Capital Region and Opened His First Retail Venture. Inspired in Equal Measure From His Cultural Heritage, From His Richly Diverse Set of Life Experiences and From His Insatiable Quest To Explore the Boundaries Between Beauty, Luxury & Meaning, he Began Trading in Fine Linens and Decorative Objects in Downtown Albany's Historic Broadway Arcade. Over the Course of Time (And A Location Change), Mr Singh Has Been Steadily Refining the Scope of the Store's Offering Which Now Includes Upholstered Furniture, Window Treatments and Rugs. Today the Store Is Part Retail Space, Part Design Showroom and Part Work-In-Process.
